Terms of Service

Silk & Soul is a trip-planning tool for travel in China. It helps you compose itineraries, save places, and get suggestions. Itineraries, opening hours, closures, prices, and other details are suggestions and may be inaccurate or out of date — always verify hours, availability, bookings, visa and entry requirements, and safety information with official sources before you rely on them or travel.

You must provide accurate information, be old enough to form a binding contract (at least 16), and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.

You agree not to:

break the law or infringe others’ rights; upload content you have no right to use; attempt to access other users’ data; scrape, overload, probe, or reverse-engineer the service; bypass security, rate limits, or the sign-in captcha; or misuse the AI features to generate harmful, deceptive, or infringing content.

You keep ownership of the trips, notes, and photos you create or import. You grant us a limited license to store and process that content solely to operate the service for you (including sending relevant text/images to our AI provider to generate results). You are responsible for the content you import and confirm you have the right to use it.

Parts of the service use AI to generate itineraries and answers. This output can be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable, and is not professional travel, legal, medical, or financial advice. Use your own judgment and verify important details before acting on them.

The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Silk & Soul and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for losses arising from your reliance on itineraries, suggestions, or AI output, or from your travel. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or to protect the service and its users.

We may update these terms as the service evolves. We will revise the “last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide a more prominent notice. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
